Brainstorm a list of your hobbies, interests, things that you collect, etc.

Create some stylized drawings of the items you listed.

Now it is time to put the pieces together for your design.

STEP 1

Draw a rectangular frame.

Representing the raised border.

Add some of your stylized drawings around the letter. 

Consider having some drawings reach outside and overlap the boundaries of the letter/border to create more interest.

STEP 3

Add a textured border to frame your illuminated letter.
