Casus: City of the future

We cannot see into the future, but we can try to prepare for things that may lie ahead. Think of climate change, with more extreme weather, drought, failed harvests and perhaps even climate refugees. 

 Attention must be paid to the energy transition and the prevention of further pollution of the earth.

The problems of the future do not necessarily have to become a problem.

During the pandemic, you and the rest of the world have learned to learn differently, to think differently, but also to communicate differently.

What if you could design a city yourself? What will that look like?

Do you take into account sustainable energy, new forms of transport, more digital communication and therefore also working from home?

Decide who will build or change now and then.

Start with the house and join a buildgroup:

Per build 5 pairs max.

• Plan your build
• Check other builds on the internet or social media for inspiration
• Think outside the box/cube...

Presentation

At the end of the week every group may present their groupbuild and take us trough their building process.

Besides the groupbuilds the students get 5 minutes to assemble at the house they think is the best build of the week. 

Mr. Huisman will award a sweet price ;-)
