Temperature rose --> ice age receded --> Northern Europe became a pleasanter place to live ==> hunter gatherers arrived.

Most of their tools were made of stone ==> Early Stone Age/ Paleolithic age.

People lived in groups who traveled were food was ==> nomads --> they lived in tents/ huts or caves.

Men/ boys hunted, women and smaller children gathered.

In the near east people dit not move around any more because there was enough food all year round.
