It is a good idea to add a picture of yourself

 on your CV / resumé.

You have to check your Social Media accounts before you apply for a job. 

You should really add 

a short biography of yourself. 

Before sending out your resumé 

you should have it checked by someone else.  

You should add pictures to your resumé. 

It is better to first phone 

and ask for more information 

before you apply. 

Always ask about your salary 

before you agree to a contract. 

It is okay to announce that you have to think about the contract before you sign it.  

The Resumé

Step 1: Explain CV structure (5 min)

Show a simple CV format with the main sections:

Personal Information (Name, Contact Info)

Objective (A short sentence about what job they want)

Education (School, Grade)

Skills (e.g., hardworking, friendly, responsible)

Experience (if any, or “No work experience yet”)

Step 2: Fill in a Template (10 min)

Hand out a CV template with gaps for students to complete with their own information.

Provide useful phrases (e.g., “I am a responsible student who enjoys working with people.”)

Step 3: Peer Review (5 min)

Students exchange CVs and check each other’s work using a simple checklist.
