Behaviorism is a learning theory that focuses on observable behavior and its consequences.

Explain the concept of behaviorism, reinforcement, and punishment and the impact they have on learning.

Behaviourism

Behaviourism contends that the human mind is too complicated to be fully understood.

Concentrates on observable behaviour. If we understand what causes a person to change behaviour, then we can CONDITION learners without considering other mental processes.

Behaviourists define learning as nothing more than the acquisition of new behaviour.

Learner is passive with little or no individual differences.
