other tips:
Keep it formal! (if it's not a personal letter)
Don't split words at the end of a line! the rule is very confusing.
Fully write out words like: Don't, Would've, Can't, I'll. (formal)
a letter should be polite, but straight to the point. No unnecessary words or information.

Letter exercise
You work at a school. You serve as a contact point from school to parent. One of the students you're coaching has been looking exhausted all week and didn't bring any lunch with them, nor money to buy it. You are worried about them. You want to write an email to their parents. You have 10 minutes.
I want you to focus on the Letter rules, not neccesarily correct grammar etc. We will focus on that another time.
