Last lesson we finished the book quiz + talked about the alphabet + numbers 1 - 50

Today we are going to do the verb "to be" in every single form and have a look at the vocabulary!(and maybe read a little bit in Epic)

Next lesson  we are going to do the verb "have got" and practice with the words

Wat is de afkorting van: I am

Hoe gebruik je het werkwoord 'to be' bij ontkenningen?

Bij ontkennende zinnen zet je 'not' achter de vorm van 'to be'.

Voorbeelden:

They are not gone                    She is not here             I am not eating

Ontkenningen met 'to be' afkorten

Ontkenningen met 'is not' en 'are not' kan je ook afkorten.

Voorbeelden:

They are not the best            --> They aren't the best

She is not the best                 --> She isn't the best

Bij 'am not' kan dat niet!
