Tsunami's
Tsunami
 1. Tsunami – A huge wave caused by an underwater earthquake or volcanic eruption.
 2. Wave – A moving swell of water.
 3. Earthquake – The shaking of the ground, sometimes causing tsunamis.
 4. Coastline – The edge of the land where it meets the sea.
 5. Seismic waves – Energy waves from an earthquake that travel through the water.

Volcanoes
1. Volcano – A mountain that erupts with lava, ash, and gas.
 2. Lava – Melted rock that flows out of a volcano.
 3. Magma – Hot liquid rock below the Earth’s surface.
 4. Eruption – When a volcano explodes with lava and ash.
 5. Ash – Small bits of rock and dust from a volcano.

Tornado
 1. Tornado – A spinning column of air that touches both the ground and a cloud.
 2. Funnel cloud – The cone-shaped cloud that forms during a tornado.
 3. Wind – Moving air; tornadoes have extremely strong winds.
 4. Storm – Severe weather with rain, thunder, and strong winds, which can create tornadoes.
 5. Twister – Another name for a tornado.
 6. Damage – Harm caused to buildings or nature by the tornado’s strong winds.
 7. Rotating – The circular spinning motion of the air in a tornado.
 8. Debris – Pieces of things like trees or buildings that get blown around by the tornado.
 9. Supercell – A strong type of thunderstorm that can produce tornadoes.
 10. Cyclone – A general term for any spinning storm, but in the U.S., it often refers to a tornado.

Earthquake
 1. Earthquake – The shaking of the Earth caused by movements underground.
 2. Tectonic plates – Large pieces of the Earth’s crust that move and cause earthquakes.
 3. Seismic waves – Energy that moves through the ground during an earthquake.
 4. Epicenter – The point on the Earth’s surface directly above where the earthquake starts.
 5. Fault – A crack in the Earth’s crust where earthquakes often happen.
