What is Multiplication?

Multiplication is a mathematical operation that combines equal groups to find the total amount.

Multiplication Symbols

There are multiple symbols for multiplication: 

•  'x' For example: 3 x 4. This is most commonly used.
• '*' For example: 3 * 4
• '·' For example: 3 · 4

Multiplication Strategies

There are different strategies to solve multiplication problems, such as using skip counting, arrays, or repeated addition.
