In vragen en ontkennende zinnen gebruik je many -> telbaar en much -> ontelbaar.

In bevestigende zinnen gebruik je 'a lot of' of 'lots of' bij zowel telbare als ontelbare dingen. Let op!  'lots of' is nóg informeler dan 'a lot of'.

A few = een paar (telbaar)

A little = een beetje (ontelbaar)

few = weinig (telbaar)

little = weinig (ontelbaar)
