Anagen Phase: The active growth phase of hair, during which the hair strand grows longer. Catagen Phase: The transitional phase following the anagen phase, where the hair follicle begins to shut down. Telogen Phase: The resting phase of the hair cycle, during which old hair may be shed and new hair begins to form. New Anagen Phase: The phase marking the beginning of a new hair growth cycle.
