When do we use the passive form?

When we don't know, or it's not important, WHO does something. 

We need 3 pieces of information

subject + verb + object

How to make a passive sentence

1. the object becomes the subject

2. use the correct tense of the verb 

'to be'

3. use the past participle of the verb

Somebody sends emails (present tense)

Somebody found the key 

(past simple)

I will water the plants

(future simple)

Somebody has watered the plants

(present perfect tense)

Emails are sent

The key was found

The plants will be watered

The plants have been watered
