Mood Board Logo Ideas

• Open PowerPoint and create a blank slide
• Find six great examples of logos and copy them on to your PowerPoint slide
• These will be your inspiration when you create your own logo, so the more examples you get the better!

Logo Skills

Your teacher will now demonstrate how to:

• Login / Setup Canva (Link to School Canva)
• Create a blank logo from the home page
• Using the elements tab to chose / edit graphics for your logos (MUST NOT USE PHOTOS)
• Use the text tab to add text to your logo
• Use rulers and guides in Canva to layout your logo
• To export your logo as a PNG with a transparent background.

Look at your partners logo so far..

1)Does the logo effectively reflect the brand or target audience it was designed for? Why or why not?
2)How well has your partner used the design tools (shapes, text, effects, etc.) to create a visually appealing and functional logo?
3) What is one strength of the logo design, and what is one suggestion you have for improving it?
