Class agreements:

Past continuous: 

- To talk about events in the past that were happening for a while.

- Use was/were + verb + -ing

- Example: She was enjoying the party.

Past continuous and past simple

- You can use them together in one sentence.

- Past continuous -> long activity.

- Past simple -> short activity.

- The short activity often interrupts the long activity.

- He was doing his homework when he noticed a rainbow.
