Violet Beauregarde: Pride (trots), because she is very proud of her world record chewing game, and she can't stop boosting about it.

Veruca Salt: Greed (hebzucht), because she is very spoiled and gets everything she wants (the golden ticket). She also wanted a squirrel for herself, and couldn't handle it when she was told no.

Mike Teavee: Sloth (luiheid), because he was addicted to watching TV and wouldn't do anything but sit around all day and watch TV.

Charlie Bucket: Lust (begeerte), because he really wanted to win the golden ticket, and was very obsessed about that.
