Posting on social media

Let's have a look at one of my posts from some time ago.

About this post

• I posted this on the 24th of April.
• I often bouldered when I was in Wolverhampton.
• I enjoyed it a lot.
• I always walked there.
• Sometimes I took along friends.
• Although I usually went alone.

What about you?

Open one of the social media platforms that you're on.

Facebook / Instagram / Snapchat / Twitter 

Select a post where YOU did something interesting or that you like. If you do not have a social media account then think of an event/activity you did in the past.

Together with your neighbour:

Ask each other the following questions and write down your partner's answers:

1. What did you do? What happened? Where did you go?
   
2. Do you do this often? Did you only do this once?
3. Were you alone? Were some of your friends there as well?
4. Did you enjoy it?

Have a look at what you wrote down

Underline all the past simple verbs that your partner used when answering the questions you asked.

They can be either:

Regular: walked / talked / played

Irregular: was / went / drank

Give some examples of verbs in the past tense that your partner used.

Make a post together!

• With your partner, make a social media post about what you did during this English lesson. 
• Keep in mind that this post needs to have text that is written in the PAST!
• You can add a nice picture of the two of you if you like!
