What is malnutrition?
NOTE! 
Malnutrition happens when your diet does not contain the right amount of nutrients.

The term malnutrition covers two groups of conditions:
- overnutrition
- undernutrition

Overnutrition
Overnutrition is a form of malnutrition arising from excessive intake of nutrients.
 
> It leads to an accumulation of body fat that impairs health.
> It can also mean you have an overdose of vitamins and minerals

Undernutrition
Undernutrition is a form of malnutrition arising from an insufficient intake of nutrients.
 
> Undernutrition is a problem that affects developing as well as industrialised countries.
