Monitor - A computer monitor is an output device that displays information in pictorial or textual form. 
Keyboard - A computer keyboard is an input device used to enter characters and functions into the computer system by pressing buttons, or keys.
Mouse - a small device that a computer user pushes across a desk surface in order to point to a place on a display screen and to select one or more actions to take from that position. 
System Unit - A system unit is the main box-like structure of a computer with all the essential components needed for the computer to work.

He sold a computer he built and programmed to Seattle to allow them to count their city traffic when he was still a teenager.
He talked IBM into letting Microsoft make the operating system and Gates proceeded to make a fortune from MS-DOS. This led onto the Windows we now know and love.
