The Present Perfect

Form: Have + past participle (3)

Use:

1. Unfinished past (started in the past, still continues)

2. Experience (at some time in one's life, effect are still felt)

3. Present result (action in the (recent) past, result now)

Present perfect continuous

Form: have + been + verb-ing
