Sense verbs

A sense verb is a verb that describes one of the five senses: sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste. 

Verbs such as look, seem, taste, feel, smell, and sound are sensory (sense) verbs. 

e.g. The cookies smell bad.

Use adjectives with them, NOT adverbs

Most of the time adverbs come at the end of a sentence especially when they are adverbs of manner, place or time.
