De gebiedende wijs (!)

This title of a famous song by Queen contains an 'imperative' (gebiedene wijs), namely 'Don't stop'. We use this if we want people to do something or if we want people to not engage in an activity. This is considered the simplest grammar item in the English language. 

Als we willen dat iemand iets doet..

Zet je heel simpelweg het werkwoord vooraan in de zin.

Bijv. 

Keep off the gras. - Blijf van het gras af.  (stap niet op het grass)

Give way to motorists. - Geef voorrang aan

automobilisten.

reduce speed now.  - Verminder uw snelheid. 

Clean your desk after use - maak de tafel schoon na gebruik. 

Iets verbieden

Zet  'Don't' vooraan in de zin én daarachter het werkwoord áls: 

je juist wilt dat iemand iets niét doet

Don't feed the crocodiles - Voer de krokodillen niet. 

Don't touch the power wire - raak de stroomkabel niet aan. 

Don't leave your belongings unattended - Laat uw spullen niet onbeheerd achter. 

Let's say you're advising someone who's going to Barcelona for the first time. Based on what we learnt in the previous lesson, which things would you advise? You can use 'Don't + het hele werkwoord when giving a tip. Give at least 3 tips.
