13.4 Letter of application

Doel: Je schrijft een sollicitatiebrief en cv.

Letter of application

Als je in het buitenland op stage of werkvakantie wilt, moet je een sollicitatiebrief en een cv schrijven.

In je sollicitatiebrief gebruik je dezelfde indeling als in de zakelijke brief (zie 13.3). Let op de volgende punten.

Opbouw letter of application

Inleiding: Hoe kom je aan de informatie, waarom schrijf je , en eventueel kort wie je bent.

Kern: leg uit waarom je geïnteresseerd bent in het bedrijf. Laat zien dat je voldoende weet over het bedrijf. Vertel kort iets over je kwaliteiten en hoe die relevant zijn voor de baan en verwijs naar je cv.

Slot: geef aan dat je graag op gesprek komt, via de telefoon of Skype. Zeg dat je uitziet naar een antwoord.

1. Persoonlijke gegevens

2. Opleidingen/ kwalificaties > bij kwalificaties/qualifications kun je ook computervaardigheden als Excel noemen.

3. Tip: Schrijf het meest recente bovenaan zodat de werkgever dat als eerste ziet.

4. Hobby's, vrijwilligerswerk, talen etc.
