What is present simple?

• Signal words: Always, never, often
• SHIT rule... ends with -S for She, He and IT.

Present simple: examples

He loves hamburgers.

Negative:

I don't like Mondays

Questions:

Do you play tennis often?

Present continuous

• Used when talking about something you are doing/is happening now.
• To be +  verb + ING
• Vergelijk NL: ik ben aan het.....
  

Present continuous

• I am playing tennis right now
  
• Negative
• It isn't raining today
• Question
• Are  you going home after class?
