My favorite hobby is reading. I absolutely love getting lost in a good book and there are a few reasons why this is my top choice. First, reading allows me to escape to different worlds and experience new adventures. Second, it helps me relax and unwind after a busy day. Lastly, I always learn something new, whether it's about different cultures or perspectives.

Layout of an English letter/e-mail

1. Salutation(aanhef):  

Dear + name,

2. Text:

• 3 paragraphs at least
• Introduction (inleiding) - why you're writing + what is the subject of your letter

 e.g. "I am writing to tell you about my holiday ...

• Main Body (kern) - you write about your core business and give all the details - e.g.

My holiday on Côte d'Azur was great. I enjoyed the beaches, quaint towns and delicious Mediterranean cuisine. My ranking of the most enchanting places is: Villefranche, Saint-Tropez and Giens Peninsula.

Verbs (werkwoorden):

Writing task (about your holiday)

What: Write a letter in English (100 to 150 words)  about your last holiday and hand in.

How: Apply the layout and use the words we learned. 

In your letter include:

1. The salutation.

2. Ask how they are, tell shortly where you were on holiday and name the reason for writing.

3. Describe what you did during the holiday. Create top  3 activities/places ranking.

4. Explain what was the most interesting. Why.

5. Ask wheher and where your friend was on holiday.

6. Tell them that you would like to see them soon.

7. The closing.
