What is persuasion?

I can identify and different persuasion techniques in sentences.

I can create my own persuasive sentences applying at least two of the three techniques.

Ethos: Convincing your audience by proving you are trustworthy and knowledgeable.

Example: “As a doctor with 20 years of experience, I recommend this treatment.”

Pathos: Appealing to emotions to make people care.

Example: “Imagine a starving child with no access to clean water. We can change that.”

Logos: Using facts and logical arguments to persuade.

Example: “Studies show that planting trees reduces CO₂ emissions by 30%.”

“Studies show that 90% of all seabirds have plastic in their stomachs. This means they are starving with full bellies.”
