What should every story have?

1. Interest and engage the reader.

2. A clear opening and ending.

3. Include excitement, tension or interest.

 

Story structure

Pay attention to...

Clear paragraphs

Use one perspective (who is telling the story)

Spelling & Grammar;

Use the correct tenses (ex. past simple)

Write!

Write a story (p.71 - 57). Minimum of a 100 words.

The story starts with:

"I was walking through the woods when I heard a noise."

Use the past simple and past continuous. 

Swap!

Swap stories with a classmate.

Read each others story, take a look at their grammar and spelling.

Grab a marker or a coloured pen, highight or underline mistakes.
