Unit 11: Vocab --> Synonyms & Antonyms

• Synonyms = words with the same meaning
  
• Near-synonyms = words with a similar meaning
• Antonyms = words with an opposite meaning

Short summary: Report writing

• Report (CAE/CPE) & Proposal (CAE) are quite similar
• Written for superior = formal language
• Factual, but you can use own experience & ideas
• Lay-out: First outline purpose of report, then evaluate/descripe based in task, in the end suggest/recommend
• Must have: title, subheaders 
• Use this as your first sentence: The purpose of this report is to.... / The aim of this report is to....

• Do the Report task
• Write the report & submit in Write&Imrove for feedback
• Process this feedback and adjust your writing
