Don't forget your primary sources. They are easy to find, but more difficult to use. Make sure you connect a question or answer to your primary source.
Empathize! A nazi soldier has a different view on Hitler than a Jewish person in hiding will have.
Open questions (no 'yes' or 'no' answers). You can show off your knowledge. For instance: Can you explain how Bevrijdingsdag in The Netherlands went and how you experienced this moments?
