We will spend part of today's lesson on how to write a PROPOSAL
During Friday's lesson you need to do exercise 7: write a proposal (this will be graded as a 1-test). 
BRING THINGS FALL APART TO READ WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED WRITING

CAE PROPOSAL ESSENTIALS
Remember to ANSWER THE QUESTION that you were asked 
Use a clear and simple layout with headings for each section
Write in a formal and impersonal style ( but take in to account you usually know the person)
Use bullet points if writing out long sentences will be too long for the word count

Total word count should be 220 - 260 words (Don't write too few or too many words)
Start the proposal with a clear sentence that states the purpose/aim
Finish your answer with a final sentence that is a summary of your opinion (based on what you have previously written)

How to write a plan
Underline the questions.
You are on the planning committee representing your country for an international cultural festival in London. Write a proposal for the festival organiser suggesting what three things should be included in the festival to represent the culture of your country and explain how you think the aspects you have chosen would best be displayed. Remember to include a seperate introduction and conclusion. 
Write your proposal in 220-260 words in an appropriate style
