Simple verb (+s)
Something is scheduled

Use the present simple 

The party starts at ten o'clock
The plane leaves at 7 AM

Offers, promises and predictions
(Als je iets aanbied, een belofte doet of iets voorspelt, dit ga je echt wel doen) 

We will discuss the future tense. 
I will carry your bag for you.

am/are/is + going to + verb
To talk about intentions, including plans for which you have not made any arrangements yet.
(je spreekt over iets wat je zou willen doen of plannen die nog niet vast staan, het is nog niet zeker)

I am going to run a marathon but I have not started training yet! 
We are going to go by train or by bus.

am/are/is + verb with ing 
To talk about plans for which you have already made arrangements.
(Plannen waar je al iets voor hebt voorbereid)

I am making a test tomorrow, I have studied all weekend. 
We are leaving for our holiday next week, all the tickets are booked.

will + be + verb with ing
Something that will probably be going on at a specfic time in the future.
formed by will + be + verb + -ing.

I will be teaching an extra lesson at three o'clock.
They will be having lunch at twelve o'clock.

What difference do you notice between the sentences?

First -> know the difference
Adjectives

Says something about a noun, usually comes before the noun.

Adverbs
Says something about a verb, usually comes after the verb.

Regular -> know the rules 

Add -ly to the word

Word ends in y? remove the y and add -ily

Word ends in -ic? add -ally
Word ends in -le? add -ly

Irregular -> study by heart

good – well
fast – fast
long – long
low – low

Sometimes -> soms
Often -> vaak
Always -> altijd
Usually -> normaal gesproken
Never -> nooit
Hardly ever -> bijna nooit

Adverbs of frequency 
In most cases, you place an adverb of frequency before the main verb.
  

We sometimes take the bus to school.
They always help me when I’m stuck.
He never lends me any of his games.

Adverbs of frequency 
If the main verb is a form of to be, you place the adverb of frequency after the verb.

I am usually quiet in class.
You are often out playing tennis.
She is hardly ever on time.
