Enough:

In Dutch: genoeg.​

Example:

There isn't enough money to buy that new table; it's too expensive.

Too:

In Dutch: te.​

​

Example:

Too many people attented the party; I didn't have enough space for all of them!

Enough:

We use 'enough' before nouns (1), but after adverbs/adjectives (2).​

We can also use 'enough' alone (3).

Examples:

1) I haven't got enough energy to cycle to work today.​

​

2) Let's go. We've waited long ​

enough.​

​

3) I don't need any more space; I've got enough.

Enough/too.....for:

We say enough/too.... for somebody or something.​

​

Examples:

We haven't got enough money for a holiday.​

This shirt is too big for me.

Enough/too....to:

We say enough/too... to do something. If that something is a pronoun, we don't use the pronoun.​

​

Examples:

We haven't got enough money to go on holiday.​

They are too young to get married.​

This chair isn't strong enough to stand on (no 'it'!).
