Present simple uitleg 1

Gebruik:

1. Wanneer iets vaak of regelmatig gebeurt ( hobby's, gewoonten )

2. Wanneer iets een feit is.​

Examples (voorbeelden):​

- I walk the dog every morning. (gewoonte)​

- Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius. (feit)​

Present simple uitleg 2

Deze woorden geven je een hint dat je de present simple moet gebruiken!

Signal words (signaalwoorden): 

Always, sometimes, (n)ever, usually, seldom, often, on Mondays, every Saturday, on the weekend, etc.​

Het maken van de present simple

I, you, we, they = hele werkwoord

he, she, it = werkwoord + s ( de SHIT-regel!)

Voorbeelden:

- You walk to school every morning.

- He walks to school every morning.

Vragend maken:

Do/does vooraan in de zin   

(do = I, we , you, they)     (does = he, she, it)

Voorbeelden:

- Do you walk to school every morning?

- Does he walk to school every morning?

Ontkennend/ negatief maken:

do not / does not + het hele werkwoord.

(do not = I, we, you, they)       (does not = he, she, it)

Voorbeelden:

- You do not walk to school every morning.

- He does not walk to school every morning.
