Om de vergrotende trap te maken zet je -er achter of more voor een bijvoeglijk naamwoord

Om de overtreffende trap te maken zet je -est achter of most voor een bijvoeglijk naamwoord.

Als je wilt vergelijken, kun je ook (not) as ... as ... gebruiken:
