- 3.6 Speaking: how to apologize 

De lockdown duurt nu al een tijdje en gaat waarschijnlijk ook nog wel even duren. Wat denk je daarover?

1. Dikke prima, ik vind het wel goed zo.
2. Ik snap waarom het moet maar ik vind het niet leuk.
3. Ik kan niet wachten om weer naar school te kunnen.
4. Ik vind thuis les krijgen fijner dan op school.

How can you apologize in English?
Write down as many examples as you can think of.

Aplogising:

- I'm really/so sorry.

- I didn't realise!

- I apologise.

- It's all my fault.

- I feel terrible.

- It was an accident.

Accepting apologies:

- Never mind.

- No problem.

- I totally understand.

- These things happen.

- It's not your fault.

Not accepting apologies:

- How can/could you be so careless?

- You can't be serious!

- You promised to look after her/it/him/...

- I'm really angry/dissapointed about this.

- I will never forive you.

Apologise to the person in the car that you hit.
