Hot Air Balloon debate

A famous person will be assigned to every student.

You will be divided into groups of 4.

Instructions

You are in a hot air balloon with 4 people and you are quickly approaching a high mountain.

All the access weight has already been thrown overboard, but the balloon will still not rise high enough to fly OVER the mountain.

There is no other way; 3 people will have to jump out of the balloon. 

Hence,  only one person will be allowed to stay in the balloon. 

The question is, WHO?

Round 1: Save yourself!

Every person in the balloon will have to give a one-minute-speech, in which they argue why they should definitely stay IN the balloon.

The audience may determine who stays.

Tip: face the audience (not the other people in the balloon) and explain what’s in it for THEM if you’re allowed to stay.

Round 2: save yourself again!

Every person in the balloon now has to give a speech as to why the other two people should absolutely NOT be allowed to stay in the balloon.

Why are the others expendable (can be missed)?

Only ONE person can stay.
