Nail Clippers

For the average cat, a pair of small dog scissor-style nail trimmers do the best job. Cat nail trimmers can be used as well, but may be too small for larger cats or older cats with thick nails.

Blade Care

F10 Disinfectant

How to use?

1:250 - High-level disinfection of surfaces and high touch areas

General Disinfection: Work benches, table tops, light switches, door handles, towels, surfaces, tools, etc

For Pets: Cages/kennels/aviaries, litter boxes, food and water bowls, wound treatment, etc

1:100 - Used as a Hand Sanitizer

At a dilution rate of 1:100, it is rapidly effective against COVID-19, both as a hand sanitiser, as well as a surface disinfectant. 

Diluted Bleach

Used for disinfecting furniture, floors, tables, surfaces, counters, cabins etc. 

If used, ensure surfaces are completely dry before allowing any pet to go on these surfaces

Do not use diluted bleach on metal tools and equipment

Sterilisers

Metal tools like combs, brushes, stripping knives, forceps, attachment combs, etc., can be disinfected in the steriliser after each groom. 

Note: Brush off any fur or debris stuck on the tools with a brush or toothbrush before placing them in the steriliser. 

Practical

• Each person is to have 1 set of feather duster
• Learn how to hold your scissors correctly and safely
• Practice cutting a square box against the wall (DO NOT DROP YOUR SCISSORS)
• Prep your dummy for the next lesson!
