Preparation

Make sure you have a pen and paper to take notes while watching the video.

Er word aangeraden om present tense te gebruiken. Dit klopt als je over feiten schrijft. Maar als je verslag doet van een gebeurtenis in het verleden gebruik je past tenses.

Title

Always start with your title.

Je titel hoeft niet lang te zijn, maar geeft wel duidelijk het onderwerp van de rapportage aan.

Body Paragraphs

Het aantal paragrafen hangt af van de hoeveelheid woorden in je report. 2-3 is vaak het best. Meer kan als dat binnen de woordenlimiet past. 

1 is te weinig, je hebt vaak meer dan één onderwerp om over te vertellen.

You work for your local tourist information office. Your manager has asked you to write a report on the entertainment facilities in your town.

Write a report of 200-250 words for your manager in which you describe the current facilities in the area and how they might attract/appeal to tourists. 

Suggest ways in which these facilities could be improved to attract more tourists to the area in your conclusion.
