- know what is necessary to write a clear and concise conclusion

- know how to use listening techniques in Cito tests

Important

• Hoofdletters, komma’s, punten etc.
• Witregel tussen alinea’s
• Noem het artikel en de schrijver in de introductie
• Let op de topic sentence! Linkt deze terug naar je thesis?
• Vermijd persoonlijke voornaamwoorden zoveel mogelijk
• Geen afkortingen gebruiken! (don’t -> do not etc.)

Counterargument

Begin the counterclaim paragraph with a topic sentence that acknowledges the opposing side and references the previous paragraph to create a smooth transition.

Use to introduce an opposing idea however, whereas, on the other hand, while, instead, in spite of, yet, despite, still, nevertheless, even though, in contrast, one could also say…

• Study the signal words (examenbundel)

• Look out for distracting words (afleiders)
• Do not overthink your answer too many times

• Dit zijn meestal maar een paar fragmenten (vergt concentratie)
  
• Probeer mee te denken en kies een logische / zinvolle aanvulling
  
• Hou de grote lijn van het gesprek in de gaten!
  

Algemene aanpak

• Lees de vraag
• Luister en noteer woorden die belangrijk lijken
• Check of je ze terug vindt in de antwoorden
• Wat niet duidelijk is of wat niet in de context pas laat je links liggen
• Probeer het juiste antwoord te kiezen
