Adverbs (Bijwoorden)

Om een werkwoord te beschrijven. Het bijvoeglijk naamwoord wordt een bijwoord door -ly achter het woord te zetten.

Ik droom stilletjes                                -> I dream quietly

Dat is mooi geschreven                    -> That's written beautifully

Ik geef mijn geld graag uit               -> I spend my money happily

Het is erg mooi geschreven           -> It's written very beautifully

Adverbs (Bijwoorden)

Uitzonderingen:

1. Fast / hard / long / late         veranderen niet

2. Na een werkwoord over zintuig, geen -ly erachter 

3. 'Good' wordt 'well'

Voorbeelden:

2. That smells great!
