Peter: "I saw you on the beach yesterday".

Peter said he had seen us on the beach the day before.

The teacher said: "Can you leave your phone here"?

The teacher told her to leave her telephone there.

Voor indirect speech gaat je naar de volgende vorm:
present simple -->

1. past continous
2. past simple
3. past perfect

Gebruik: Indirect speech
Jay: “I like sandwiches!”

1. Jay said that he like sandwiches
2. Jay said that he likes sandwiches
3. Jay said that he liked sandwiches
4. Jay said that he did not like sandwiches.

Rewrite to indirect speech:
"Are you tired?"

1. He asked if I am tired
2. He asked if I was tired
3. He asked am I tired?
4. He asked if you are tired.

Put in indirect speech, my aunt asked: "Are you going to town?"

Change into indirect speech - Mike said: 'I went to school yesterday.'

Turn direct speech into indirect speech:
"I went home last night"

Fill in the correct indirect speech:
Shane: "I like to cook."

Change to indirect speech. Stijn said: "I bought jeans yesterday."

Form this into indirect speech:
