subject: who does it
Predicate: verbs
Object: who/what + subject + predicate

Adverbs of frequency
  • Usually in between the subject and the predicate (sometimes they go in front of or behind the sentence)
  • Unless the predicate has multiple words, then you put the adverb after the first word of the predicate (except 'have to')
  • They go after am, is, are, was or were except in question sentencesk


Adverb of frequency = something that says how often something happens (always, usually, sometimes, etc.)

  • Manner (how you do it), then place, then time
  • When the information is really important, you can put it in front of the sentence
  • If there are two adverbs of time, the more precise one comes first
