- bij alle persoonsvormen: will / 'll / won't 
- bij I / we: shall / 'll / shan't
- in vragen met I en we MOET je shall gebruiken

linking words are used to connect two parts in a sentence. By using linking words you can give a reason, an explanation, add information. Or you can explain, state a contrast, give examples etc. 

examples of linking words:
but, because, and, although, so, as soon as, whereas, unless etc. 
* read carefully as the choice of linking word influences the meaning of the sentence
