IMPERATIVE SENTENCES - Rules

1. Request : request, beg, appeal

2. Order: order, command 

3. No Conjunction (that) is used.

4. Infinitive 'to' is used before the verb.

Example:

1.. Father said to me, "Go and wash your hands."

Father ordered me to go and wash my hands.

2. He said to Mohan, "Help me, please."

He requested Mohan to help him.

It means a type of order.

Rule: Add 'to' after told or ordered.
