In this fase the focus is on quickly checking possibilities and getting inspired by others. You make moodboards, mindmaps and brainstorms a lot

In this fase the you create the concept for your work and make several tests in which you research shape, colour, composition. You vary on different options and ask yourself the question if the change you've made strengthens the idea/concept your trying to express. 

If necessary you go back to the previous fase if you need more input and inspiration on a specific topic.

You create the final piece. You can explain what you're expressing, how you're expressing it and how all visual aspect work together to achieve that. 

You look back on the overall project. You can reflect yourself on knowledge (how well did you do research  on the visual aspects, how well did you work apply to the assignment) and skills (how was your working attitude, planning, logging etc.  You also do research to study possibilities that are somehow related to the assignment and explain why it would/wouldn't be interesting/suiting you

Smell the scent of this bottle and look at the design of the bottle.

Discuss with your group your answers. As a group write down an answer to the following question:

How did the designer of the bottle expressed the scent into the design of the bottle?
