Collocations

Collocations = the combination of words formed when two or more words are often used together in a way that sounds correct. 

So, in exercise 5, you can find the verbs and two nouns that go with them.

Grammar

Two new future tenses!

Future continuous

We use the future continuous to talk about actions that are going on for some time in the future (at a definite time / over an extended period of time).

Form:

Will / Won’t + be + verb + ing

Examples: 

I’ll be travelling to Africa this time next week.

 He will be going to school again at 8. a.m. tomorrow.

 Over the next few years, this money will be helping people like Mohammed.

Future Perfect

We use the future perfect to talk about an action that will be completed/finished before a definite time in the future. 

We often use by + time expression or before + time expression or in + time expression

Form:

Will / won’t + have + past participle (-ed or 3rd column)

Examples

 By the time she finishes the marathon, she will have raised 200$.

 The traffic situation will have improved by eleven o’clock.

 Chris won’t have made his decision before tomorrow.
