Essay
Checklist:
  • I have written at least 100 words.
  • I have used my knowledge of the topic from period 4.
  • I have used grammar and vocabulary from period 4.

Example:
In the USA school shootings are a common occurance. Students go to school every day with the knowledge that this is something that could happen to their school. Every year more than 100 school shootings take place in the USA, often with lethal consequences.
In the article Kate Woodsome said that Kids were unwell because society was unwell. Kids feel scared because of what is happening in schools.
If guns were banned in the USA, there would be  fewer school shootings. It would be illegal to own a gun and people would not dare to buy one. But that is unlikely to happen.
I hope they will ban guns in the future, so many lives will be saved.
