  • at least 10 words
  • use in the right context (bijv. key: is het key op toetsenbord, of key huissleutel?
  • correct grammar, spelling etc
  • the meaning has to be clear
Example: suspicious.
I know that picking a lock looks suspicious, but you've got to learn to trust me.

You know when and how to use relative pronouns

  3. I am going out with a girl WHOSE brother has just been jailed.
  4. My neighbour is responsible for the burglary THAT/WHICH was reported on the news.
  5. My bike, WHICH is invaluable, has been stolen

  • After a preposition, use WHOM for people, and WHICH for everything else

The house IN WHICH I lived was in a poor state. (not: IN THAT)
The boy WITH WHOM you went out is a crook (not: WITH WHO)
