Korte versie van de uitleg...

Een stap-voor-stap aanpak bij de present simple (gewone tegenwoordige tijd)

-Staat er ‘always’, ‘never’, ‘often’, ‘normally’ ‘sometimes’, ‘usually’ in de zin? -> Dan gebruik je deze tijd! (deze woorden geven een gewoonte / hobby aan)

Maar ook: ‘every + dag’ / 'week', 'jaar' (bijv. every Monday, week, month,)

Wat deed je ook alweer met het werkwoord?

-Bij: I, you, we, they laat je hem staan…

-Bijv:

I always cycle to school – you always cycle to school – we always cycle to school – they always cycle to school.

-Bij he/she/it plak je er een –s achter…. He, she ,it always cycles to school.

present continuous 

Staat er ‘at the moment’, ‘right now’, ‘currently’ in de zin?

Je krijgt dan am/are/is + werkwoord (zonder e) + ing

I am listening at the moment.

You are listening at the moment.

He/she (my mother)/it is listening right now.

We are listening now.

They are listening at the moment.
