What do I expect of you?
  • Try to speak as much English as possible. 
  • Be mindful, respectful & communicate!
  • Be on time: more than 5 minutes = too late. 
  • Raise your hand if you have a question and be silent during explanations of me/student.

I will ask you to practice in Holmwoods & Woots on your own but we will also practice with old CITO exams/ted talks and other material in class. 

You need to be at B2 level for listening at the end of VWO6 or 
C1 = 6,0

  • ‘gist’ (de essentie van het fragment) 
  • specific information 
  • important details 

  • Try to discover which one applies to the questions when you are making a listening/watching test. What do they want from me?

  • globaal luisteren of kijken: hier mag je de vragen nog niet lezen. Je kijkt/luistert naar het fragment, maakt aantekeningen en dan beantwoord je de vragen.
