Address the audience by:
* Addressing the audience and keep contact with them throughout 

* Catch the audience’s attention at the beginning, and leave a  clear impression at the end (eg use of “we” and “you” etc)

* Get the audience to react personally: including rhetorical questions, repetition etc.

The rule of three is a storytelling idea that suggests people better understand concepts, situations, and ideas in groups of three. For example:

-blood, sweat and tears
- cool, calm and collected
-“Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” – the American Declaration of Independence
“Government of the people, by the people, for the people” – the Gettysburg Address
